It was a gloomy day with nothing exciting going on. Aida, the husky, trotted along looking up to the clouds which seemed to follow her. She sighed and continued on. She didn't know where she was going, but she had heard about a meeting being held somewhere around here. As she made her way through the city she saw a large forest surrounded by rocks and large boulders. It seemed like the type of place that a meeting would be held. And so when she reached the place she saw Dodger. Dodger was a mutt and leader of many dogs. He was your typical 'tough' guy. He told her what the 'meeting' was really about. She didn't understand. Why would there be a war between animals. They had done nothing wrong, right? Well that was what she thought. This is what really happened, what Aida didn't know about.
Two clans fought over one place called the Caymus Domain. It was the most beautiful, most exotic of all places. Everyone wanted to be there. And so, they fought over it. The Caymus Domain was big enough for all of them to stay in, but each and every animal was greedy. They wanted it for themselves. The animals formed two clans. The Fang clan and the Talon clan. The fighting went on and on, innocent blood was scattered everywhere. Until now. There are newcomers who have joined the clans or who have decided to live apart from the clans and as loners. Will they rescue the others from the bloodshed? Or will they join the fight over the Caymus Domain.

How the Swan got a long neck « Result #1 on Feb 28, 2009, 2:03am »
There was this really large pond that ducks, and swans shared. It was in the shape of a swan , so the vain swans insisted that it should be called swan lake. Many think that there isn't much difference between swans and ducks but there is. Swans at first didn't have long necks but they had beautiful feathers, slender bodies, and they didn't paddle like ducks, they gracefully swam. The ducks however at this time were ugly, and bulky and just frantically kicked their short legs to swim. The swans wouldn't let the ducks swim with them, which angered the ducks since they too lived at that pond. One day while the swans, and ducks were arguing about which group would swim first a flock of geese came over as they were passing by to see what all the fuss was about. They listened, and found that the swans were vain and thought that since they were prettier, and gracefuller that they should use the pond first. They also found that the ducks thought that they should use it becuase the last time the swans refused to let them have their turn. Then a goose said,(more like honked) that they should share the pond since it was rather large. The swans unsurprisingly got mad at this so a fight broke out. The ducks were pulling at the swans feet, and the geese were honking and biting the swans necks, and pulled as hard as they could. About an hour later the fight had ended. The ducks and geese stood there looking humorously at the swans. They had stretched the swans necks out so far that they couldn't hold their heads up. A few hours later the swans had finally shortened their necks at least to the point where they could steadily hold them. But after that day swans, ducks, and geese shared all the ponds in peace, and there were no taking turns. But still today the swans have fairly long necks. The ducks however are no longer ugly, they to are pretty, and a little more graceful.

Searra, an eight-year-old brain tumor patient, was a "regular" in the Radiation Oncology Department, much like the other patients who came to the cancer center everyday for a five- or six-week period. With my office located near the main entrance, I could hear Searra, also called CC, coming from a distance. Sure enough, she popped her head in every morning around 10:00 A.M. to say "hi" or, more important, to check out the toys and coloring materials I had stashed in my office.wow power leveling Several steps behind, CC's grandmother, also called Mommie, since she served as her guardian, would trail in as she tried keeping up with CC's anxious pace. CC was not the least bit interested in hearing more about her cancer or her hair loss. When she walked into the department, it was time to socialize with the staff, who became her instant friends, and to see what kind of masterpiece she could color for Mommie before she was called back for her treatment. I was taken aback by the love CC had for Mommie. Whenever I asked her about home life, school work or how she was feeling, every response referred to her time spent with Mommie, the funny stories they shared and how much she loved her.wow gold On numerous occasions, CC made it clear that Mommie was the center of her world. When CC was first treated with radiation therapy, wow power leveling the therapists told her that they would give her a quarter each day if she promised to keep her head still on the treatment table. Certainly, wow gold after six weeks of therapy, she had a pocketful of quarters! So on the last day, the therapists wanted to know what big toy she was going to buy with all her change. CC replied, "Oh, I am not going to buy a toy. I am going to buy something for Mommie because of all the nice things she does for me." CC's sincerity, unselfishness, warmth and loyalty to Mommie taught me about what is really important in life. She constantly showed that loving others with true commitment is the best gift you can give another-whether a family member or a friend. Certainly, CC has an excuse to complain or be angry at the world for a childhood totally different from the other children's in her third-grade class. I have never heard her complain about her bald head, wow power leveling swollen face and body (as a result of the steroids), or low energy level, which keeps her from playing outside. CC continues to live her life the way she chooses, and that includes giving of herself to make the world a better place for others, especially Mommie. CC reminds me to not take those people I love for granted and to look beyond the superficiality that is often found in day-to-day living.wow gold I am reminded to be more thankful for what I have today and to not dwell on what is behind me or what lies ahead. CC, just like many other cancer patients, is a true example that we aren't always dealt the perfect hand, so we have to make the best of what we have today.

was a single parent of four small children, working at a minimum-wage job. Money was always tight, but we had a roof over our heads, food on the table, clothes on our backs, and if not a lot, always enough.wow power leveling My kids told me that in those days they didn't know we were poor. They just thought Mom was cheap. I've always been glad about that. It was Christmas time, and although there wasn't' money for a lot of gifts, we planned to celebrate with church and family, parties and friends, drives downtown to see the Christmas lights, special dinners, wow gold and by decorating our home. But the big excitement for the kids was the fun of Christmas shopping at the mall. They talked and planned for weeks ahead of time, asking each other and their grandparents what they wanted for Christmas. I dreaded it. I had saved $120 for presents to be shared by all five of us. The big day arrived and we started out early. I gave each of the four kids a twenty dollar bill and reminded them to look for gifts about four dollars each. Then everyone scattered. We had two hours to shop; then we would meet back at the "Santa's workshop" display. Back in the car driving home, wow power leveling everyone was in high Christmas spirits, laughing and teasing each other with hints and clues about what they had bought. My younger daughter, Ginger, who was about eight years old, was unusually quiet. I noted she had only one small, flat bag with her after her shopping spree. I could see enough through the plastic bag to tell that she had bought candy bars - fifty-cent candy bars! I was so angry. What did you do with that twenty dollar bill I gave you? I wanted to yell at her,wow gold but I didn't say anything until we got home. I called her into my bedroom and closed the door, ready to be angry again when I asked her what she had done with the money. This is what she told me: "I was looking around, thinking of what to buy, and I stopped to read the little cards on one of the Salvation Army's 'Giving Trees.' One of the cards was for a little girl, wow power leveling four years old, and all she wanted for Christmas was a doll with clothes and a hairbrush.wow gold So I took the card off the tree and bought the doll and hairbrush for her and took it to the Salvation Army booth. "I only had enough money left to buy candy bars for us," Ginger continued. "But we have so much and she doesn't have anything." I never felt so rich as I did that day.

Salvaje {Equine RP} « Result #10 on Mar 19, 2008, 4:44pm »
A long time ago Salvaje was inhabited by Indians, which gave it the name and possibly even the powers of the island. But after the food ran out the Indians died, leaving the island empty aside from a greater power whom they worshipped (named Iris). Nobody knew who or what Iris really was, but whatever she was, she came in animal form.
Hundreds of years later, a steam boat which was carrying roughly five horses crashed on the harbour. The captain and all of the humans were killed, but by some miracle the horses remained unscathed. The boat sunk after a week leaving the island seemingly untouched. One of the horses died, but the rest of them, two stallions and two mares survived.
They didn't breed however, as the legend goes. Iris gave the mares the ability to carry her foals through 'magic', and when they birthed the two foals were extremely special. Iris never made anything perfect however, and they fought. The mothers gave them seperate parts of the island.
Years later, after the line of birth had continued, the island was split into light, dark and neutral. Battles began to form, and soon the peacful island was transformed into chaos.
